There are 3 pillars of disinfection: Application, Product, and Contact Time.

     Application: refers to how surfaces are disinfected.

     Product: refers to what substance or solution is being used to kill bacteria living on surfaces.

     Contact Time: the amount of time is takes for the product to kill the bacteria once it is applied to the surface.

In order to kill bad bacteria and viruses living on your surfaces, you need all 3 of pillars to be effective. If you are using a product with a 10 min contact time and you are wiping it off immediately with a rag, you are not cleaning the surface properly. In turn, if you are letting the product sit for its allotted contact time, but are applying it incorrectly, it won't work.

Yes! The HydroCleaner 2.0 is designed to spray a mist of solution over each surface and kills any unwanted bacteria within seconds. We do not recommend soaking devices in solution or over-spraying certain surfaces. Although highly touched areas, like a keyboard or a computer mouse, can become home to large amounts of bacteria, our system requires very small amounts of our solution to be effective.
